Powerful alone. Transformative together.

Dr. Weke (Wah-Kee) is an Educational Therapist who supports schools and families by providing executive function coaching and social-emotional learning to students at-risk or who have ADHD or an Emotional-Behavior Disorder. A holistic educational approach is used to target various areas (behavioral expression, emotional awareness, learning needs, and life-skills), so that students are more likely to acquire the necessary skills to feel empowered, become self-directed and demonstrate balance. In this way, students begin to exhibit personal mastery: Mastery of their emotions, behaviors, and skills that support their learning, understanding, growth, and wellness.

Bringing brain and body in balance

  • behavioral expression

Holistic Educational Therapy (HET) decreases challenging behavior while helping individuals better process and understand their own behaviors and feelings. Since behavior and self-awareness are directly linked, students become more emotionally intelligent.

  • emotional awareness

HET helps students better understand and manage their emotions. Students are provided with tools to better navigate personal/social experiences by building a strong sense of self-awareness.

  • learning needs

Supports Individuals with learning differences (students receiving tiered support or who receive special education services. HET is a powerful way to increase academic readiness and student determination.

  • life-skills

Diet and lifestyle practices are directly linked to emotions, behaviors, and learning. HET considers/recommends lifestyle routines, mindfulness practices, and dietary choices to support behavior and learning.
